WE THE PEOPLS

Glance.

Photographing strangers is no easy task. The boundaries are crossed, vulnerability is palpable both in front of the lens and behind it.

…And yet, connecting with a stranger is a mutual act of human need. Today we choose to bestow our connections to those we cross on the digital realms before those we cross on the streets.

“We The Peopls” is an ongoing Photographic journey attempting to cast aside our inhibitions. Attempting to open a dialogue with wonderful strangers that time after time reminds us of our similarities with the power of a glance.

We The Peopls

The preamble to the United States Constitution and the slang word “Peopls” (a friend), come together in this project to demystify that very sentence —Who are WE?

Sometimes it’s a conversation, sometimes it’s a look, an acknowledgement
—Friend not Foe.

That’s all it takes to meet a stranger, photograph a human not close to you, yet very familiar.
